Sorry... in the previous entry I said NQMarried was a re-write of Passion's Ransom... I meant Rapture's Ransom. Sorry about the confusion. I guess it's because the two books I'm missing from your backlist are Passion's Storm & Passion's Promise. LOL! I've got Passion on my mind! LOL!!

Hi Betina.
I was picking up the last few books from your backlist when I heard that you had a new book coming out in March, so I decided to drop by and see what it was all about.
I was wondering if this book was a re-write of My Warrior Heart (like Not Quite Married was of Passion's Ransom) or a Re-issue?
I actually read both NQMarried and PRanson to see the difference and it was quite notable. Not just the plot but I could see how much you have grown as a writer as well. NQMarried flowed more easily and I found a rhythm to it (do you know what I mean?), PRansom was more stark and felt dry in a sense. Still great story telling but not as fresh.. too many details?
Anyway, would love to know if the The Enchantment is a reissue or a re-write.
Thanks!
Sandy

I always thought the whole 'romance novel' deal was a load of sop. Until I read the Princess and the Barbarian. Now, unfortunately, I am addicted. Thanks alot! Anyway off to order Not Quite Married.

Dear Betina,
It a great pleasure for me to have a chance to write to you at last. I've heard about you and your superb books from Marta Clark who lived in my town (Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, 400 km from Moscow) in 1995-1996 with her
husband and 3 kids. She told me about you and gave me your
books to read. The first one was The Last Bachelor and I
enjoyed it immensely; it was so different from the
books I used to read. In 1998 I happened to visit the USA
and I was lucky to buy your new bood The Unlikely Angel
(I bought 3 copies actually to share them with my older English students). You know life in my country is not a piece of cake for many Russian women and I try to do my
best in helping younger ones to be competitive and happier.
To my mind your books are very good teachers, they show
how to be strong and tender and be a real woman!
I'd like to thank you on behalf of your Russian readers
for your talented books and wish you many new ones.
Merry Christmas to you, your sons and your grandson!
From snowy Russia with love,
Liudmilla

I wanted to read your books but I need a list of those that are in series. Can you provide that?

Betina, I love reading your books! All of your heroines are unusual, intelligent, and fun! I look forward to each new book. The "Brides of Virtue" trilogy was just delightful! Thank you so much for sharing your gift with all of us. God Bless you and your beautiful family.

I just wanted to thank you for your entertaining books which I just discovered about a year ago [sorry about that]. But, I've made up for it by buying almost all of your books. I've already read 6 of them and purchased 12 more which are in line to be read as time permits. I think my favorite so far is The Perfect Mistress, but I've enjoyed them all immensely. You have found the perfect balance between romance and comedy ... once I start reading one of your books I become totally engrossed in the tale and can't put it down. Thanks so much for those moments of laughter, warmth and emotion which are so badly needed in these trying times. You have acquired one more faithful fan.

Just wanted to say thank you for writing such wonderful, memorable stories and characters. You have always been a favorite author of mine, with your wit and style. About 9 years ago, I was heavily into romance writing as a hobby and was quite inspired by your books. A friend of mine in an online writer's group attended an RWA conference and met you. You were kind enough to write a personalized note of encouragement on a yellow flowered notecard, which my friend sent to me. I still have it and am glad to have the chance to thank you for it. Best wishes to you and your family - and keep the books coming!
